We have worked with Virgin Media for a number of years, providing staff to support their sales teams on different campaigns.

Whilst we don’t supply sales staff, we are asked to supply bright and engaging brand ambassadors who can pass warm leads onto the Virgin Media sales team.  So what does this mean and what skills do we look for when recruiting for this role?

Firstly, we look for staff with lots of energy – consumer shows are long and we need staff who can remain as energetic at the end as they do at the start of the day.

We need brand ambassadors who are happy to approach the public but not in a pushy way – we grab the attention of consumers in fun and interactive ways. This approach is key to helping pass leads onto the sales team and relies on our staffing being intelligent and smart communicators.

We also require our staff to have great organisational skills, as stringent management and control of daily prize stock levels and collateral is key. With several tiers of prizes and winners and the need to make sure the prizes last across the entire show, the team need to be super organised in order to keep track.

Another key skill is to build rapport with the onsite Virgin Media Sales team, so that the whole procedure works seamlessly from gathering leads to passing them on.  Our Angels need to work in tandem with the sales team to help them hit their targets for the show.

We make sure our staff are thoroughly trained and have all the tools they need, in order to effectively engage with the public and grab the attention of consumers during extremely busy shows.

Ideal Home Show Christmas Manchester : 10th – 13th November

Ideal Home Show Christmas London: 23rd – 27th November
