Jägermeister – ‘It runs deep’ nationwide on-trade activation 2014

As we come to the end of the Jägermeister campaign, Hels Angels looks back over the last 8 months of activity…

Last weekend we hung up our shot glasses as we came to the end of one of Hels Angel’s largest scale and most widespread experiential staffing activities! We worked alongside Jägermeister UK to provide staffing for a UK wide on-trade activation, which ran every Friday and Saturday evening in 17 cities nationwide, across 8 months. It saw us successfully complete 2764 staffing days and actively recruit over 300 Angels to work on the campaign.

The activity involved our glamorous Jägerettes visiting popular bars in major city centres across the UK, encouraging consumers to trial Jägermeister with their friends as an ‘Ice Cold Shot,’ the preferred serve of Jägermeister. The idea of the activation was based around Jägermeister’s tag line of ‘It Runs Deep’, referring to the roots of friendship and toasting to bonds that are deep, meaningful and true.

As well as being fabulous saleswomen our Jägerettes also had to retain excellent brand knowledge. Part of the promotion was to educate consumers about the heritage of Jägermeister and enlighten them to some of the ingredients that can be found in the top secret recipe, which includes 56 herbs and spices!

Our Jägermeister teams visited 1,500 bars, and delivered nearly 300,000 customer interactions with a total of over 80,000 shots sold and sampled!
