Cocktail of the week: Jim Beam Black Citrus Sin

The main components of a Black Citrus Sin cocktail

This Sunday one of our fabulous mixologists will be winging his way over to Cannes on France’s stylish Côte d’Azur, to work with Maxxium on their trade stand at the TWFA World Exhibition. This five-day forum is where Global duty free and travel retail businesses meet each year, to exchange ideas, do business and network.

We’ve worked alongside Maxxium here for the past seven years, and over this time have showcased all the drinks brands in their roster through a veritable cavalcade of delicious cocktails. This year, one of the cocktails we’ll be serving is a sweet and fruity drink made with Jim Beam Black – The Citrus Sin. It’s a nice drink for this odd time inbetween seasons – there’s plenty of summery citrus, and a hint of autumnal pear.

The ingredients are all relatively easy to get hold of here in the uk – if you have a good drinks supplier nearby you should be able to get your hands on some pear liqueur. Or, if you happen to be heading to Cannes this weekend, come along to the Maxxium stand in the Palais de Festivals and we’ll knock one up for you!
