Laphroaig, Queen’s coronation festival

written by Melina

Back in July, we were at the Queen’s Coronation Festival representing Laphroaig Whisky. The festival itself took place in the stunning gardens of Buckingham Palace – a truly royal event!

Laphroaig had a presence at the Festival as they were the first malt whisky distillery to receive the Royal Warrant, in 1994. HRH Prince Charles has visited the distillery twice, and now his royal coat of arms appears on every bottle of Laphroaig.

We sent along some of our most experienced and knowledgeable Angels to promote various ages and types of Laphroaig to consumers. We have a lot of experience working with whisky, and were able to provide truly passionate brand ambassadors whose whisky knowledge surpasses our own!

We were also recruiting whisky lovers into the ‘Friends of Laphroaig’ club, in which you are allocated your own small plot of land, along with many other perks including access to special whiskies, members discounts, an online community and a dram of the finest Laphroaig on every visit to the distillery. Needless to say, there were plenty of interested customers!
