The Smoky Sour

Next week we will be heading off to Cannes to work with Edrington at the Tax Free World Association Exhibition. Our exclusive team of mixologists will be showcasing brands such as; The Macallan, Highland Park, The Famous Grouse, Brugal, Cutty Sark, Snow leopard, Bols, Galliano and The Glenrothes.

In honour of the portfolio we will be representing, here is a sneak preview of one of the key serves we will be creating for guests:

 

The Smoky Sour – The Famous Grouse Smoky Black

Ingedients

50ml Smoky Black

25ml Lemon Juice

12ml gomme sugar syrup

2 dashes angostura bitters

egg white

Method

Measure the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and add lots of ice cubes.  Shake vigorously for 20 seconds, then strain into a tumbler and garnish with a couple of dashes of angostura bitters
