We heart SSE

Here at Angels HQ we kicked off the first month of 2015 with another burst of activity with SSE. SSE is one of the UK’s leading energy suppliers and is proud to power over 5 million homes and businesses through its retail brands: SSE, Southern Electric, SWALEC, Scottish Hydro, Airtricity and Atlantic. SSE cares about making a real difference to its customers’ lives, every day and holds naming rights for two major event and concert venues, The SSE Hydro in Glasgow and The SSE Arena in Wembley, London.

Hel’s Angels has been providing SSE with fabulous staff at The SSE Hydro for a year and a half and are now in Round 11 of activity with our lovely Scottish Energisers. After SSE took naming rights at the SSE Arena in Wembley, they asked us to send in our talented London Angels to give the audiences some top-notch customer service.

Providing excellent customer care is a philosophy very close to SSE’s heart, and something we try to emulate with our staff on-site. To be an SSE Energiser, you must be warm, engaging and quick to help customers who are at the venue to see a show. This could be anything from giving customers directions to their seat, answering general venue queries or making them feel extra special by upgrading them to the SSE Reward Lounge! Hel’s Angels work hard to ensure we are providing the right staff, and are always on the lookout for individuals with that ‘Energiser’ quality!

Over the course of the Energiser campaign, both SSE and Hel’s Angels have worked together to implement some fantastic changes to ensure the smooth operation of each event. We have introduced a monthly newsletter to the Glasgow and London teams respectively, keeping them up-to-date with the goings on and also awarding a ‘stand out’ member of staff with the title of Energiser of the Month!

SSE has also established an Energiser blog, a forum for staff to share their highlights and favourite aspects of the job. The teams are real communities and SSE like the Energisers to be involved from a grass-root level. In the past six months they have held two successful feedback sessions, in which the Energiser can offer their own campaign ideas, many of which have been taken on board and implemented.

SSE really cares about their staff, an ethos shared by us at Hel’s Angels. They are passionate about delivering award-winning customer service and we, in turn, are dedicated to providing quality staff with excellent results.
So here’s to the rest of 2015, and may it be another Energising year!
